The Mathematics of God

This sermon focuses upon the well-known story of The Feeding of the Five Thousand.  In her sermon “The Mathematics of God,” the Rev. Dr. Pattie Kitchen presents the story of Jesus, the loaves and the fish – and how adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing function according to God's divine algorithms. Through the Math of God, we will consider the stunning mysteries and practical dimensions of Christian discipleship, from the simplicity inherent in the apophatic tradition to the sheer wonder of numbers.
