James 1: 22-25
Dr. Bell preaches on the role of doing “good works” in the Christian life. Protestants often state that we are saved by faith and not works, but this does not excuse us from letting our light shine. Also, this Sunday is the kick-off of our “Work-ship” week, in which many Wellshire folk are making an intentional effort to put faith into action. The sermon text is James 1: 22-25 (key verse: “Be doers of the word and not merely hearers.”)
