EXPLORING MEMBERSHIP
The Path to Membership Wellshire Presbyterian Church (PCUSA)
1. Indicate your desire to join WPC by contacting a pastor or Beth Hamstra, Membership Coordinator.
2. Request New Member Form from the office. Complete and return to Beth, at WPC by the Friday prior to the Second Sunday of the month. The Session gathers to receive new members at 10:30 in the Office Suite on the 2nd Sunday of each month.
3. Be received in worship, quarterly, at 11 am, on a special Communion Sunday.
4. Attend a Quarterly Membership Course taught by the pastoral team exploring the theology and mission of Wellshire, the PCUSA, and the meaningful implications of membership (call 303.758.2233 for specific times).
5. Discern and incorporate your gifts within a ministry of Wellshire about which you feel passionate. Called Persons may enter into active church membership by 1) profession of faith, 2)reaffirmation of faith, or 3) transfer of membership from a former church.
