Denver Wedding Church
At our Denver wedding church, a wedding ceremony is a meaningful form of Christian worship. As you exchange your wedding vows, you make a covenant with each other in the presence of God and a company of witnesses. It’s a joyous way to begin a marriage in Denver, Colorado.
Worship venues at Wellshire: Our wedding chapel or church Sanctuary
Wellshire Presbyterian Church has two distinct worship spaces to celebrate a beautiful Christian wedding.
- Our wedding chapel is an intimate, relaxed, and warmly lit space for a ceremony. It holds approximately 180 to 220 guests, and it can be easily adapted for smaller Denver weddings.
- The Sanctuary in our Denver wedding church is a traditional Presbyterian space of worship. It accommodates up to 500 guests. The backdrop for your wedding ceremony includes a wall of stained glass windows, a distinct altar, and the beautiful music of a Casavant pipe organ.
Wellshire Presbyterian Church is located at 2999 South Colorado Boulevard. Our wedding worship services attract couples who live in south Denver, particularly Washington Park (Wash Park), Bonnie Brae, Cherry Hills, Greenwood Village and Highlands Ranch. Our church is close to wedding reception venues and hotels in Cherry Creek and the DTC.
Officiant for destination weddings and outdoor weddings
In addition to officiating wedding ceremonies at Wellshire Presbyterian Church, our senior pastor travels for destination weddings, including mountain weddings and other regional venues. He serves as an officiant for both indoor and outdoor weddings.
Planning a Denver wedding at our church
The first step is to contact Beth Hamstra, our Wellshire wedding coordinator. She’ll answer your questions and help you schedule a wedding date.
Then, you’ll make an appointment to meet with one of our pastors. If possible, you’ll meet with that pastor two to three times to plan your service and wedding vows. You’ll also meet with our organist or music director to plan your music.

Premarital counseling is highly recommended, but it’s not required. When you have your initial planning meeting with a Wellshire pastor, you should discuss your options. |

Wedding music |

Ceremony fees apply for both members and non-members of our congregation, but fees are notably less for Wellshire members. If you and your fiancée are looking for a church home, we invite you to learn more about Wellshire Church and consider becoming a member. |
