Short answers to your questions…hoping to help you feel at home at Wellshire !

Where in Denver are you located?
2999 S. Colorado Blvd., Denver, CO   80222

Two blocks north of Hampden Ave., near the Wellshire Inn & Golf Course;
Please see our map.
Call us at 303.758.2233 if you get lost, and we can help!

When are your worship services…and how long do they last?

8:45-9:30 a.m. – “Living Water” contemporary service in the Chapel (southeast end of WPC) with jazz musicians and singers, including Eric Moe, who plays trumpet with The Denver Brass. Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of each month.

11- 12 noon - Traditional Worship in the Sanctuary (northeast end of WPC) with full choir and organ, classical anthems and instruments. Children, kindergarten and older, are encouraged to pick up a “Praise Pak” and join us in worship as the sun streams through the stained glass, painting the Sanctuary in color. If you are interested in being a part of the music ministries of Wellshire, write to mpolenz@wpcdenver.org and your voice will be welcomed here!

Where is the best place to park?

There are special reserved spots designated for VISITORS in the back parking lot, on the lower level, nearest the entrance to the Children’s Suite. Otherwise, please use the available lots and on-street parking.

Do people dress informally?

Generally, yes…but you will see both navy blazers and blue jeans – sometimes on the same person! We want you (and your children) to be comfortable. We always try to be a place of grace and welcome.

Where do I take my infant? My children? My teenagers?

There are kind greeters at each WPC Entrance to direct you to the LOWER LEVEL of WPC where the newly-remodeled Nursery, Sunday School classes and Youth Suite are located. Our lovable pastor for Youth & Young Adults, Betsey Moe (bmoe@wpcdenver.org), will be happy to look for you if you give her a heads up that you are coming. Please see the Youth Ministry page for more details.

Are there Adult Education courses on Sunday mornings?

Yes! Thought-provoking teachers and topics fill the 9:45-10:45 a.m. hour with Biblical theological encouragement and challenge. These classes are located on the MAIN LEVEL in the Adult Education Suite. Please see our Adult Education page for details of current offerings.

Is Wellshire engaged in serving the world beyond its walls?

Very much so – and we would love to have you join us. Our Head of Staff, Dr. John H. Bell is deeply involved with the work and leadership of Habitat for Humanity in the Denver metro area and many members of Wellshire are committed to local and international medical, educational, hunger and homeless projects. Please see our Mission Service page, or write to pkitchen@wpcdenver.org.

I have visited Wellshire and would love to become a member…what do I do?

Please see our Membership page, and then call me so I can personally welcome you into this thoughtful family of faith.

Finally, one of the greatest words of encouragement at Wellshire, which is said weekly and believed with every fiber of our being, is that we are a community of hope, where you will always hear a message of hope. I would love to meet you (or take you for a good cup of coffee; Fair Trade Coffee & Tea are served all week long at Wellshire!) so call or write (pkitchen@wpcdenver.org; 303.758.2233)and I will be happy to give you more detailed information.

Welcome to Wellshire !
