ASSOCIATE PASTOR for MISSION and OUTREACH
The Rev. Dr. Patricia M.B. Kitchen is Associate Pastor for Mission and Outreach. She began her work at Wellshire on January 2, 2008.
The Rev. Dr. Kitchen's ministry has included serving congregations in both Pennsylvania and Louisiana. For the three years prior to coming to Wellshire, she served as Associate Pastor for Mission and Evangelism at First Presbyterian Church in Shreveport, LA.
Dr. Kitchen is a graduate of Centenary College in Shreveport where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1979. She completed her Master of Education degree from the University of Virginia in 1982 and in 1993 received her Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary. She was awarded her Doctor of Ministry degree from Princeton in May 2008.
Pattie is married to Dr. James G. Kitchen. Jim is a retired Cardiologist who has worked with the Medical Benevolence Foundation (MBF) for over 30 years promoting medical mission efforts. He is presently the treasurer and a trustee for MBF.
Pattie has three children: Crawford Brubaker, 24, in his middler year at Princeton Theological Seminary; Ben Brubaker, 22, a senior at Tulane; and Elizabeth Brubaker, 19, a sophomore at SMU.
